“Values were gained and supported. We learned excellence of performance, integrity, doing good things for others, cooperation and teamwork.”
"I started my college career as a summer session student at Penn State. Alpha Zeta hosted a ‘get to know you’ event and it was very family oriented, and felt like it had very personal connections. I myself have an ag background, so I really liked that it was an ag house. The people I met were humble, came from good families and had good connections. On top of that, since I’m from out of state, I didn’t know very many people. This tight knit community at Alpha Zeta made a giant school feel a little smaller on campus. "
"I have remained dedicated to Alpha Zeta because of the life-long friendships I made while living in the house and with other members of the Brotherhood that I met after graduation. Having served in the USMC 1954-57 and as House Manager in 1960 and Chancellor in 61-62, I was able to develop some leadership and human resource skills that served me well during my 40+ year career with the US Dept of Agriculture."
