The active chapter of Alpha Zeta recently recruited the help of several alumni to purchase a bluestone in the new Alumni Courtyard at Penn State. The Courtyard, located in the Hintz Family Alumni Center, will be made up of about 1,900 bricks and stones.
The group purchased a bluestone at $1,000, with most of those funds coming from donations from alumni. The text on the stone will read, “The Morrill Chapter of Alpha Zeta Fraternity. Founded 1898.”
Word about Alpha Zeta’s participation in the Courtyard was spread mostly through the Alpha Zeta (Morrill Chapter) Penn State Facebook group. To be added to this Facebook group, email Amy Yeiser at [email protected].
Thanks to the following alumni for their contributions: Heidi Stephens Pavelski, Jason and Christina Wolfe, Diane Glock Cornman, Dave Glock, Larry Ansell, Sarah Caldwell, Jessica and Joe Spangler, Deidre Hepler, Chris Connelly, Kristen Klohonatz, Emily Yeiser, Harrison Hartman, Nicole Ansell, David Harwick and Emily Caldwell.
