Alpha Zeta announces Corp Board changes

At the March 28 annual meeting, the Corporation Board made several changes to their line-up of officers.

After more than a decade of service, Treasurer Eric Bengtson came off the board. His position is being filled by newly elected board member, Thad Will, a 1994 graduate who now works for M&T Bank.

Dr. Chris Connelly, who served as Vice President and Scholarship Chair, also completed his years of service to the board. Dan Frechen will take over as Vice President and remains as Furnishings Chair, while Joe Leslie moves into the Scholarship Chair role. Newly elected board member, Emily Caldwell, will take on the Alumni Relations Chair position previously held by Leslie.

Art Keen remains as President and Michael Flinchbaugh will continue to fill the role of Secretary.

Keen thanked Bengtson and Connelly for their many years of service and said that both will remain involved as advisers to the board. Bengtson will oversee several financial accounts and Connelly will stay up-to-date as part of the scholarship selection committee.
