From September 2012 to February 2013, a total of 113 donors have contributed more than $13,000 to the annual fund. Forty of these donors contributed more than $4,000 during the month of February alone.
Affinity Connection’s series of donor outreach letters and newsletters are the main drivers of these incoming funds.
Affinity delivers two newsletters each year, one in the spring and one in the fall, as well as three outreach letters in early September, January and May each year.
“Alpha Zeta is having a wonderful year and will likely surpass previous years’ totals,” said Affinity Connection’s Laura Fiochetta. “Alumni also have been far more responsive to our outreach efforts and continue to send in stories and updates.”
An increase in donations will allow the Corporation Board to give even more to the active chapter in terms of building improvements and scholarship funds.
