Numerous things can draw a crowd at Penn State! The 2013 Homecoming committee was able to attract an extraordinarily huge crowd during the Penn State Color Run, which was held this past Sunday.
Dressed in whites(plus tutus, goggles, neon sunglasses and more), over 10,000 registered runners came squeaky clean to the starting line outside Beaver Stadium, and ended up full of colors, craziness and happiness as they finished what has been dubbed “the happiest 5K on the planet.” This wild run is designed to be a unique family-friendly event, but there was plenty of partying for all race-goers.
While this is the first year for the Color Run in Happy Valley, chances are it won’t be the last! Registration for the race sold out quickly, with proceeds benefitting Penn State Homecoming!
