1. What is your best memory from your fraternity days?
The friends I made and the social activities that we were involved it.
2. Why did you join Alpha Zeta during your college years? What is the biggest thing you feel you learned from your Alpha Zeta experience?
To get to live with people who were involved in Agriculture and to help improve my GPA.
3. How would your life be different today if you had never joined Alpha Zeta?
I learned I could be a good student and eventually went on to earn a Ph.D. I also met so many new friends that are still friends with me today.
4. Name 3 brothers you would like to reconnect with.
Jim Stoudt is the only friend who I have lost contact with.
5. What’s new in your life today?
I am married to Thelma Brown, we have one son George who is graduating from Penn State this spring. I am Sales Manager, Treasurer, and part owner of F.M. Brown’s Sons, Inc. An agricultural business involved in feed, flour, birdseed, fuel, and farming. I plan to cut back to half time next October and be “Semi-Retired” which will probably still mean 40 – 50 hrs. a week. Looking forward to traveling a little more and perhaps getting back into teaching on a part-time basis.
6. Why do you financially support Morrill in your alumni years?
To give back to something that has been very good to me.
