IFC announces CORE winners

The Interfraternity Council announced the winners for its Commitment to Outreach and Responsible Education program Wednesday — an initiative meant to promote “friendly competition” among fraternities in the IFC.

Fraternities participating in CORE, an optional program, were motivated by incentives like reduced chapter costs funded through the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life, IFC Vice President for Communications Kevin Cirilli said.

Fraternities were split into three divisions based on size, so smaller greek organizations could compete as well as larger ones, Cirilli (junior-journalism and political science) said.
