There’s Building Life Skills … and Then There’s Google

So what advice would Curt Harler ’72 give to the younger generation?

He encourages undergraduates to enjoy the experience and not be too serious. “The future will be just fine. Focus on the big picture, on learning HOW to think—not facts that soon will be obsolete.

Learning to communicate, relate, compromise … all will help you down the road. Everything else you can Google (Haha).”

Curt currently resides in Strongville, Ohio. And what does he miss most about living in Happy Valley? Walking! He writes, “walking to class, to bars, to Blue Band practice, to the library, to the Collegian, and to AZ.”
