Where Are Your Donations Going?
Most of our Brothers and Sisters, don’t need a reason to give to Morrill. We give because Morrill taught us how to be men and women, how to be loyal, and most importantly how to support each other. That being said, it is still easier to give when you know where your generosity is being allocated. .
In this current giving year, there are three items we want to focus on with our fundraising:
1. Repair/replace leaky box gutters around the house – $15,000
2. Re-mortar and re-point the chimeys – $15,000
3. Alumni communication
Joe Paterno once said “The good news is that we have the money, the bad news is that the money is in your pockets.” The undergraduates need our help and support. Their time with Morrill is just beginning. The costs of maintaining a Chapter House continue to rise. We also wish to continue to fund bringing you Alumni News and reports of progress being made. This too, costs money. However, your support keeps us alive, and therefore keeps Morrill in all of us, reminding us of the lifelong connections gained and maintained, friends who became Brothers and Sisters, and skills that prepared us for the lives we enjoy today. All that happened in four years at Penn State. Don’t we owe it to ourselves and each other to give back to Morrill?
