This means that AZ must raise $10,000 each year until 2018. Donations are tax deductible. Click below to find out how you can make a pledge toward our $10,000 for this year.
Turning His Priceless “Remember When” Moments Into a Path for Others
James Pierson ’48 attributes many of his life’s accomplishments and joys to his early career in the Army, his Penn State education and his time at Alpha Zeta. The experience meant so much to Pierson that he established a $50,000 need-based scholarship for agricultural students in the name of he and his late wife, with preference being given to Alpha Zeta members. Can You Put a Price Tag on Belonging?
We want to share a story with you. This story comes from a Penn State fraternity … a situation that took place in 2013. One brother had a daughter who was facing a very serious genetic illness. The best doctor available in the area was in Baltimore, but he had closed his doors to new patients. As often happens, this brother’s dilemma was shared by one brother to another and to another. Thanks to the efforts of one brother, the base of those who knew about this expanded, and the doors (literally) opened. This young girl was able to see the specialist she needed and begin her path to healing. But that is not where the story ends. Click below to read more.
So, What’s Your Story?
Whether you ran a marathon this last year, welcomed your first child (or grandchild), traveled the world or met up with a few brothers and sisters for a PSU football game, we want to know it. Now is your chance tell us your story!
