We are so excited to report that The Morrill Chapter of the Alpha Zeta Fraternity, Inc. had a record giving year to end 2010-11! At the end of our giving year on August 31, we had raised $13,727 from 144 donations. Thank you to all alumni who helped make this possible.

Penn State to Mark 9/11 Anniversary at Alabama Game
If you’ll be in town this weekend for the game, the University will mark the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks with pregame and halftime events at the Penn State vs. Alabama. Before the 3:30 p.m. kickoff, a color guard of New York City firefighters will be on the field for the National Anthem, which the Penn State Blue Band will play with a special lead-in. Immediately following the National Anthem, there will be a stadium flyover of F-18 Hornets.

As the 2010/2011 giving year comes to a close, the chapter has received more than $13,600 from 142 donors for its annual fund. On Pace for Best Annual Giving Year EVER!
A big round of thanks to the alumni donors who have supported our annual fund so far in 2010-11. Because of their contributions, we have raised $13,515 so far this year, which is so close to exceeding our record fundraising high of $13,527 in 2000-01.

AZ, Penn State Greeks Hold Benefit Dinner
Two of Penn State’s agricultural fraternities and one sorority united for a barbecue in late March to benefit members of the Clouse family of Southwest Madison who lost seven out of their eight children in a recent fire.
